My Journey

I was looking for something to help with the stresses of work and every day life back in 2020. I had come across a friend's post that they were a Reiki practioner and were booking appointments and inquired about it. I had never had Reiki done before and wasn't sure what to expect for my 1st time. After finishing the session I felt so calm and relaxed. I got occasional sessions after that. That winter I saw a post from the local yoga studios offering classes to become a Reiki practioner. I took the leap and signed up for the class. Where I met the an amazing woman by the name of Mara who is now not only my Reiki Master, but also a close friend and mentor. As of February of 2022 I became an Usui Reiki Master and plan to eventually become a Usui Reiki Master Teacher. I continue to take classes on different Reiki and energy healing practices and although being a Reiki Master I did have the ability to help animals with Reiki and I wanted to advance my knowledge of helping them and took Mara's class and became a Mrida (Compassionate) Animal Reiki Practioner as of May 2024.

 I enjoy helping both humans and animals and provide services to both. But I feel a strong pull to help animals, especially dogs. I am a huge dog LOVER and have had them all of my life. I have been around and worked with all sizes of dogs. We have cats as well, and I've been around most farm animals, fish and various amphibians and reptiles. 

I provide in home and long distance sessions for both human and animals. With animals especially I think it is important to provide the healing energy in the space they are comfortable with.

Along with Reiki I can assist in balancing chakras and I'm also a Certified Meditation Teacher.

I'm also open to working with shelters or collaborating with Veterinary providers.
